It is with great honor and anticipation (I knew my time was coming!) that I have been given the presidency for the upcoming year. We are starting to the plan the annual meeting slated for July 7-9, 2016 in beautiful Puerto Rico.
This is a milestone meeting for our club as it will be our 10th annual meeting! With that in mind, please make every effort to attend. We are planning for an amazing venue, Wyndham Grand Rio Mar, which will have plenty to entertain for all families and kids of all ages. Just to name a few, some of the activities that will be available include hiking, biking, golf, El Yunque (the only rainforest in the U.S. National forest system), and the Bioluminescent Bay, which guarantees to be an exceptional experience.
Some members are already planning spending several days prior to the meeting in Old San Juan, a city with historic landmarks, distinctive architecture, a tropical climate, and Puerto Rican culture and food.
As the plans start coming together, I will be sending updates for information and interest on potential activities.
