The 2017 meeting will be held in Jackson Hole, WY from Thursday July 6 to Saturday July 8. It is the perfect time of year to visit Jackson. I have secured our meeting space and a block of rooms at Hotel Terra from 7/5-7/9 (+/- 3 days). It is an eco friendly hotel at the base of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village. Hotel Terra has a small heated outdoor pool, spa and gym, and a free laundry facility on each floor. Jackson Hole has an airport (JAC) that is a 15-20 minute drive to Teton Village.
Jackson Hole has a great town with shops and wonderful restaurants. It is near the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks - great for hiking, biking, lake swimming/fishing and sightseeing. Natural hot springs are just south of town. Family friendly white water rafting is close by on the Snake River. There are two golf courses (I am researching this). There is world class fly fishing. The mountain has rock climbing and trampolines with bungees for the kids as well as an aerial adventure course and mountain biking course. There is a evening rodeo in Jackson Hole multiple evenings each week. Outdoor free concerts are scheduled throughout the summer on the grass next to the hotel. Our adult dinner on Friday evening will be at a wonderful restaurant called The Granary. As we get further into the planning process, I will give details on all these activities, and more.
